Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This recipe is right up my alley - easy and delicious. As per Jenn's review, I just brushed chicken breasts with ranch dressing (not from packet). Without measuring I sprinkled on bread crumbs, then added panko crumbs I had and also a dash of italian seasoning for more flavor. It was in the oven 40 minutes, the last fifteen covered in foil. I served it with stuffing and cranberry. Loved it!!

Italian Special Sweet Fried Ravioli Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
My grandmother used to make these every year at Christmas. We couldn't wait for the chocolate ravioli's. No one had the recipe and when I found this one and tried it, it brought back wonderful memories of grandma....

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This was just okay. I added a little extra mozzarella (I like a very cheesey dip) and an 1/8 tsp. cayenne for a little heat. I was not pleased with the consistency of this dip. I was hoping for something a lot creamier. I had 3 dips out at the same time, and although people said they liked this one, it did not go. The next day I doctored it up with 1/4 C. sour cream and 1 C. monterey jack cheese, reheated it, and it tasted better and had the creaminess I was looking for, but I still ended up throwing almost the entire thing away. I'm very glad I didn't double it.

Hoagie Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I halved this recipe and it still made a ton! Fed 6 adults, and there was still a lot leftover. I added 1 T. red wine vinegar. The dip was incredibly good, did taste exactly like an Italian Hoagie, but was not my favorite dish out that day. However, all of my guests were freaking out over it! And, one of my best friends said that I have to bring it to any party she has in the future.

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of this! I don't have a microwave, so I baked it in the oven for about 25 minutes at 350, and the house smelled sooooo good! I mixed the cream cheese mixture together the day before, and also did not measure the green pepper, pepperoni, and black olives ... just eyeballed it according to my own personal preferences. I served this with homemade crostini, and it was the yummiest appetizer I had out that day! And, it's so easy! My new favorite!!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

pretty good, and fast! My wall oven is amasing, it really holds the heat in... I only had a 1lb eye roast since it is just my husband and I... came out tender and had a ton of flavor!

Tzatziki Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This was so good! I put my English cuke thru the food processor and then drained it in a strainer over night. I used Greek yogurt which is so thick to begin with that it didn't need draining. Loved this and thank you!

Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Made this to go with our fried chicken dinner on Sunday and it was loved by all! When I make mac and cheese I use a lot more cheese then called for and this was no exception. I used one wedge of smoked gouda and one wedge of plain gouda. While making the roux I also added garlic and onion powders, white pepper and dry mustard. Topped the dish with additional cheese and buttered panko crumbs. Awesome and thank you!

Aromatic Asian Burgers (Abalos Style)

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I too used ground turkey to make these burgers and other than cutting back on the ginger, we all thought these were so good. Ground turkey needs a little help in the flavor department anyway and this really did it! Thank you!!
