Pan Fried Filets with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed on Oct. 6, 2008 by JJnicespice
Altered this recipe to our taste as follows: Used fresh mushrooms instead of canned, used currant jelly instead of strawberry and substituted a fruity white wine for vanilla ice cream. Pan searing the filet made it extra juicy.

Broccoli Chicken Braid

Reviewed on Oct. 5, 2008 by jess in NY
Made this for my fiance, found out he doesn't like broccoli and cheese together/ oh well, still said it was good. Made a few changes due to earlier reviews. no green pepper so used 1/2c red pepper and added 1/4c of vidalia onion. Sauteed them first along with the garlic, dill and salt. Steamed the broccoli first. Seemed to be 1-1/2 c too much filling so I had leftovers. Only needed to cook 11mins cause it was getting golden and I knew the insides were already cooked. Will make again adn may even try some other fillings!

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed on Oct. 5, 2008 by Lillian
This was very good. I made it with fat free half and half. I only used 1/2 the sugar and it was sweet enough. I used fresh picked red raspberries. I agree with the other reviewers who said it was more like a sorbet than an ice cream. Still very good. I think I'll use more half and half next time to make it more creamy. I will definitely make this again so I can try other flavors.
