About me:
I've worked for a major airline for 27 years and have been fortunate to eat all over the world. It has helped to develope the desire to blend different cuisines and flavors when I cook. My Dad loved to cook and he would always include a trip to the cheese shop on saturdays and to his butcher on sunday mornings. These are some of the things that developed my passion for food and a desire to wake up every day wondering "what can I create today with what I have on hand" I also raised three boys, the youngest is 15 and they were always hungry. My middle son didn't like anything that didn't look right and he always wanted to sniff his food so it was a challange not to only make it taste good, but to make it look good and smell good! I am the owner of a personal chef service "a Simple Pleasure"which I started in 2001 and in 2005 became a member of The United States Personal Chef Association. I reside in Acworth,Ga with myhusband, son and our 10 year old pomeranian.

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Reviewed on Nov. 26, 2008 by Heather
Very good pie with some tweaking. The chocolate was mildly grainy. The flavor was excellent but I recommend doubling the recipe and splitting the sugar like this: 1 cup of powdered sugar with the ingredients (add 1/2 tsp also) and separate the eggs, and use the egg yolks in the chocolate mixture. Whip the egg whites with 1/2 cup white sugar to stiff peaks. fold into the chocolate mixture and spoon (or pipe) into your preferred prepared crust. all-in-all a very good pie, that I would make again with the updated instructions.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed on Oct. 21, 2008 by TARAB1
Wow! This was SO good that my 11 year old son asked me to make it every night. I used 2 chicken breasts, cut them into cubes, put in a skillet, mixed all of the remaining ingredients in a bowl and poured over. Cooked for about 30 minutes on med-high heat and it was done. So easy! I also made rice and used the extra sauce to pour over the rice. This one is a keeper!
