Yummy! Everyone who tasted this at a recent work party stated "It tastes just like chicken wings!"
I took the advice of several other reviewers and switched out the ranch for blue cheese dressing and the cheddar for low-fat, part-skim mozzarella. I poached three chicken breasts in chicken broth, then added all of the ingredients to my food processor and pulsed until it was well blended. I increased the hot sauce to 1 cup, but will probably add more the next time. It wasn't hot enough for my personal taste, however was too hot for one of my peers.
I didn't bake it in the oven as I made this the night before the party. Instead, I just heated it up in the microwave for about 5 minutes, stirring every minute to keep the cheese from burning. I will definitely take the advice of others and get a small crock-pot to keep this warm. I served it with Fritos and Celery sticks and it rocked!!! Thanks for such a great recipe!
