Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
This was awesome. It took a little more work than the recipe lets on but it was worth it.

Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I thought it was great. I didn't have a springform pan so I baked it in a 9x12 glass dish. Worked out really well. I'm going to substitue coconut milk for the evaporated milk and add toasted coconut on top.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
Really good. I always pour milk over my cake and this is like that only better. I'm going to add fresh cherries to the next one and let the juice sink in with the milk. I wanted to try it just as written before I modified. It's a great "add to" recipe. Wonderful.

Oatmeal Sourdough Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
I really liked the rolls. I don't have a bread machine so I kneaded the dough the old fashioned way. My total time was about 2 hours. They cooked up much bigger than I thought, so I'll make them smaller - golf ball size, next time. Hope it helps.

Quinoa Tabbouleh

I loved this. It was super easy and tasted as good as the Near East Tabolueh I get at the store. I love quinoa. It's great.

Pumpkin-Apple Muffins with Streusel Topping

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
They were good. I used half the sugar because I ran out. It could have used it. I wouldn't suggest cutting back that much. I'll make it again and use the whole can of pumpkin too.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I made this for a brunch and it turned out perfect. I used the 1/4 c. of butter because I didn't have enough. I also used cream of chicken with herbs. It was great.

I really like this recipe. I followed it exactly. It wasn't as moist as I would have liked but it has a great flavor.

Vegetarian Moussaka

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
It's just okay. I made this for my whole family. My husband loved it, my mother hated it and my kids wouldn't try it. I thought it wasn't as good as it should have been for all the work it required.

German Apple Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
I had a couple of oops moments as I tried to make this cake. I only had 1/3 cup of oil, so I used my son's applesauce cup in addition to. My husband is from Austria and his biggest complaint with american desserts is the amount of sugar we use, so I cut that in half. I added a cup extra of apples. At the end of it was a wonderful dessert that everyone loved. I would do this again.
