No-Bake Cornflake Cookies

Submitted by: Denise Marnell
Provided by: Taste of Home
I grew up on a farm where we hand-milked cows and had plenty of milk and cream to use for cooking. Sometimes we'd substitute light cream for the evaporated milk in this recipe. We'd rarely let these cookies cool before sampling them, and a batch never lasted a day!

No-Fuss Meat Loaf

Submitted by: Betty Braswell
Provided by: Simple & Delicious
'Instant stuffing mix makes this nicely seasoned meat loaf simple enough for beginners to make,' says Betty Braswell of Elgin, Pennsylvania. 'I often combine the mixture in a resealable plastic bag instead of a bowl,' she suggests. 'Then I toss the bag for easy cleanup.'

T Bird's Beef Jerky

This is the very best jerky you have ever tasted, I've tried a lot of them, and this one's the best - you will reward me on this one! I use venison when available, but cheap round steak is great also, and it's all done in your oven.

Baked Ziti I

A simple baked ziti strikes it rich with layers of sour cream, and three kinds of Italian cheese. Ready-made spaghetti sauce reduces the prep time, and ground meat is optional.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Submitted by: Andrea McInnis
The dressing in this spinach and strawberry salad is fabulous. It begins with vinegar and olive oil and goes on from there with sugar, bits of onion, Worcestershire, sesame seeds, paprika, and poppy seeds. It 's chilled before serving so all of the flavors mingle nicely.

A tasty lime dressing, with cayenne and garlic added for kick, make this salad a bit different from the one above. Avocado too. And this salad doesn't need to sit in the frig, it can be served to four hungry people immediately.
