About me:
I'm old fashioned, down to earth, and have always loved cooking. If dinner was cooking or ready and you showed up at my door, well let's say if you didn't pull up a chair and grab a plate I considered it an insult. I compliment my grandmothers…they made some of the best meals that anyone could eat and I think I was taught by the best!

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed on Nov. 29, 2008 by Whole Chef
For perfect "jelly": use 1/4 c. Grand Marnier, 3/4 c. OJ, 1 c. white sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, pinch of ginger. Cook for 25-30 mins. mashing berries while they cook. Press through sieve or wire strainer. Firms up nicely and is delicious! Thanks for the start! This is a keeper!

Spiced Slow Cooker Applesauce

This is easy and so delicious. My son wanted "homestyle" apple sauce and I didn't want all the extra ingredients of purchased. He loves it! Delicious on ice cream. Yum Yum!

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed on Sep. 21, 2008 by Whole Chef
I just made a double batch of these on faith. Well, glad I did because the kids are gobbling them up. I'm always looking for healthier versions of traditional foods that my kids will eat. Well, this totally scores! I used frozen blueberries and it worked great. Thanks for sharing!
