Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed on Nov. 29, 2008 by EBONET
The recipe is very close to how I make Flan, (FYI everyone LOVES my flan, even non believer) Although the trick to a good flan is the pan. If you come across something called a Caulero or small cauldrin it does the trick!! You can melt down the sugar in the pan and then put the mixture for the flan directly into the pan. Then put it in another pan with water almost like a double broiler. IT's MUCH cleaner and comes out perfect! Plus if you do 4 eggs with 4oz cream cheese with the cans of milk it's a much better balance. Try it you'll see!!

Crystal's Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed on Nov. 28, 2008 by Sandi
I have made this recipe 3 times so far. One batch my husband gobbled up in no time flat, and the others I brought to Thanksgiving dinner. They are VERY moist! They have a cake like texture, very springy. The next day they are even more moist! They get a little sticky. I wasn't sure I was a fan at first, it's a different texture for a cookie, I thought maybe I did something wrong (hence making them 3 times!) but now i'm sold. I do like cake, lol. Thanks!

Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed on Nov. 28, 2008 by NICOLEN275
I got this recipe a few years ago and did some subsitiutions for the butter milk. I use plain yogurt. I don't keep butter milk around like that, but I do have yogurt. Over the years I have a great recipe and always look back at this one as how I got started. I did make it according to the recipe, with butter milk, but like mine better. The rating is based on the execution of the recipe as written.
