Habanero Cookies

Reviewed on Sep. 23, 2008 by B. Scott Andrews
I made them exactly to the recipe. They turned out great! My family loved the taste. Just the right combination of hot and sweet. Don't breathe in the vapors from the habanero seeds and pulp, though, it's like tear gas!

Blackened Chicken

Reviewed on Aug. 26, 2008 by Russ F.
Actually this is a great recipe. I owned a restaurant for many years and we did blackened chicken for many of them. the only difference is we heated the skillet over high heat with no oil. The high heat kept the chicken from sticking. But it must be very hot!!!

Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream

Reviewed on May 25, 2008 by Russ F.
I made this recipe first and am used to using only egg yolks and also scalding the cream while making the custard separately and tempering it with the hot cream. The ice cream was still very good. Next time I will use recipe #VII
