Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed on Nov. 19, 2008 by mommyto3
Just made this and it was wonderful. Made a few changes: browned the beef with diced carrots, green onions and celery and garlic. Added the tomato sauce (prego with mushrooms) and let simmer together while the rice pilaf (near east brand)cooked. Mixed all together with rest of ingredients/spices. Filled the peppers and cooked 1 hr and added cheese topping for another 10 min. My kids loved it. Served with bread and a salad!

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed on Nov. 2, 2008 by Sara
Fairly good. Not something that I would make again, though. I don't care for overcooked pasta - and I realize that it's hard to avoid in baked pasta dishes - but, I don't seem to notice it as much when a larger pasta is used. I just don't think spaghetti works real well being cooked twice.

Cabbage Casserole Vegetable

Reviewed on Nov. 2, 2008 by Sara
This was just so-so for my family. Had a sort of "processed food" taste to it. Not that I am against using canned soup and process cheese, it just seemed to stand out in this recipe for some reason. There are other cabbage casseroles I have tried that I like much better, so I don't think that I will be making this again.
