About me:
I am a student who has vowed to learn how to cook. If humans have to eat two or more times a day, we might as well be eating something real good! Right now I'm living in Germany for a year, and European measurements and baking pans are all so different! It's forced me to really get to know my ingredients so that the food turns out right. This way I also learn how to alter recipes or create my own. My host families have loved eating what I cook- all have gone fantastic (encore!) except a special tasty surprise I brought with me from the south: grits! Sigh. They've left my breakfast creamy cheese butter grits all for me to eat.

Sour Cream Broccoli Casserole

For a crunchier crust, try crumbling Ritz crackers on top. I use 2 tbsp sour cream and 2 tbsp mayo also.

Fruit Pizza

Simple, fast, versatile and delicious. This was an instant favorite amongst family and friends. If you found the recipe a little too sweet(as I did) try cutting back on the amount of marshmallow creme by half, use a couple of extra tablespoons of cream cheese to make up for the difference in volume. This recipe should also be eaten the same day it's prepared, otherwise the sugars in the topping will cause the fruit to macerate making for a soupy mess. Great recipe

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed on Dec. 30, 2007 by SCYankee
I had this dip several times. It is wonderfully addicting. The ONLY thing I would do differently is to use fresh chicken either poached or wrapped in foil w/ aromatics and roasted in the oven. This is merely a personal preference as I have had this dip using canned chicken and the taste was excellent.
