Magic Spice Cake

Reviewed on Jun. 3, 2008 by Nancy D
I increased the spices to 1 tsp each. I didn't have buttermilk or even plain milk so I used my favorite standby of nonfat powdered milk. I added 1 tbsp of white vinegar and let sit 5 minutes. Worked great and had the advantage of reducing fat. Good thing because my hubby will eat one of these in a day!! It's his favorite.

Irish Cream Creme Brulee

So good. So very good. Ran out of ramekins and had to buy more just so I wouldn't waste the Irish cream goodness.

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed on Dec. 18, 2007 by JohnBethell
I always automatically double the recipe 'cause it's easier to trim off what I don't want than it is to stretch and pray. (I add about a tablespoon of lemon zest to the flour before I do anything. No one knows where that taste comes from, but it makes you want to slap your mama for never telling you it was going to be this good.)
