About me:
I am the single mother of two teenage sons with very healthy appetites! They love mom's cooking and I love cooking for them. I am a secondary school teacher and am always looking for something quick and easy to fix on those difficult days. We also have a "lunch club" at school and we take turns bringing lunch. Again, another reason to cook and also to look for something new and different.

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Reviewed on Nov. 30, 2008 by G Pendleton
This worked well for the original serving size of 16. I wasn't able to roll it out without it sticking to the rolling pin but it worked out when I just shaped it into the pie pan. I've never had a successful pie crust but this one would be close. The flavor is good and it's flaky but I would like to be able to roll it out with the rolling pin. I'll keep practicing.

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed on Nov. 3, 2008 by Mia Nuttle
This turned out VERY good, but I think next time I might add a little bit of white sugar to the mix. I thought it could be a little bit sweeter, but it was VERY good. I also added a little more nuts because I love them!

Jenny's Cuban-Style Slow-Cooker Chicken Fricassee

Reviewed on Sep. 23, 2008 by HAIRGODDESS
This was YUMMY! I used Carribean Jerk seasoning in addition to the ones in the recipe and my family LOVED this dish, even my husband who hates chicken on the bone. I served it with rice in a bowl, kinda like a soup, it was wonderful, thanks for the recipe.
