About me:
I am a twenty-three year old with a love of food and no reason to worry about calories as of yet. I don't rate my recipes based on healthyness, but taste. So remember that. I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to food, but I must have easy and good recipes or they never get made. I am a sucker for fast recipes, ie. small number of ingredients, fast cook times and easy substitutions. I'm also a sucker for desserts although I haven't made many from this website. I have too many really great family recipes. Well, that's me!

Hearty Garlic Potato Soup

Absolutely incredible recipe. I've been known substitute a little of the milk for heavy cream on particularly cold winter nights. Allow a little extra time for the soup to thicken properly at high altitudes.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed on Nov. 13, 2008 by Tiny Dancer
This is THE recipe my grandma makes every time we go to visit her. I have adopted it and it's a favorite treat in the family- especially in the summer. It's also good using Special K. Grandma has used Raisin Bran in the past (sounds weird, but there's really no difference- just raisins). She also likes to add butter into the frosting- I don't recommend as it adds five zillion calories and nothing special flavor-wise.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed on Nov. 13, 2008 by Tiny Dancer
Mmmmmm. I love this recipe. And it's so easy to halve or fourth. Sometimes I just eyeball it and make myself a little rice krispie treat! I've tried this with honey and corn syrup, but I like corn syrup better. I love honey, but the taste was kind of overwhelming the peanut butter and chocolate. I am first and foremost a peanut butter/chocolate lover. :)
