About me:
I'm a 35 year old stay-at-home mother of 2 and wife of 1. I love gardening and grow a lot of what we eat. Cooking is definitely my passion and it's pretty rare that we eat the same recipe more than once...unless it's a serious keeper.

Sweet and Sour Sauce II

Reviewed on Dec. 2, 2008 by Bonnie
I subsituted half the water for pineapple juice and left out the pineapple chunks. It made a ton of sauce, I only ended up using about a 1/4 of it with 24 crab cheese puffs. A little too sweet and thick, good base recipe but needs some more tweaking to be really good. I made the Crab Rangoon III to go with it, that was an awesome recipe!

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed on Dec. 2, 2008 by Bonnie
I omitted the crab and water chestnuts, added chopped green onion, and doubled the cream cheese and spices. This made enough filling for about 24 puffs, which was only half the package of wonton wrappers. My family loved them including my four year old and they were gone in minutes. I made the Sweet & Sour Sauce II to go with them but they were just fine plain. Will be making again.
