About me:
I have 5 children and they love my cooking. I love allrecipes.com because I trust the recipes. I love gardening and singing. I have a lot of confidence in my cooking, however, I used to be afraid to cook before I became experienced at it. My Mom is Hungarian and she taught me many wonderful Hungarian dishes. However, I had to relearn cooking all over again when I married my Husband because he doesn't like Hungarian foods.

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed on Dec. 1, 2008 by JANICER8
My husband and I made these rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. We had to add a lot more flour because of the stickiness of the dough. I thought they were a little dense, but they we both thought they were good. Everyone at dinner seemed to like them. They were easy to make. Thanks for the recipe, Sherlie!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed on Sep. 10, 2008 by Secret Ingredient is Love
Wonderfully delicious, however, you have to know your apples. I used my home-grown green apples that are NOT tart, Nor are they sweet and my Apple Crisp turned out way too sweet, I have since made this many times over with less sugar and substituted fresh squeezed lemon juice for the water, which I poured over the sliced apples in the pan and stirred by hand. I only used 3/4 cup white sugar in the sugar cinnamon mixture and poured that on top of the apples after the step with the lemon juice. This recipe is definitely a keeper!!!
