About me:
Just a mid-20s housewife & mom who loves to cook! I have a husband who doesn't like sweets and I love to bake sweets so sometimes I have to just bake up a storm and give it all away quickly so I don't eat it all :)

Molasses Cookies

Reviewed on Dec. 2, 2008 by ann
These cookies are the best that I have ever had. They are so moist and chewy. Everyone that has had them just really enjoy them. One word of advise. Do not substitute the margarine with butter. I tried it because I did not have margarine and what a flat cookie I had! It still was delicious but the margarine makes them nice and plump. I have made these several time already. Thank you!

Lemon Curd

This is an absolutely FABULOUS recipe! I made several different flavors while experimenting and they all came out great! I package my own scone mixes and I served some of the curds that I made with my scones and everyone that tasted them were amazed! I've canned several bottles and will be sending them as Christmas gifts! Thank you for this great recipe!

Pumpkin Butter

Reviewed on Nov. 17, 2008 by ann
This recipe is wonderful! I have had butters in the past that are so blah. This recipe has so much flavor! I added a 1/4 cup more of apple juice to thin it down a bit,and 2 tbsp of butter. I canned 6 (1/2 pint) bottles from 1 batch. I boiled my bottles and lids, put the hot butter in, sealed and inverted them on the counter for about 20 minutes and wahla! They all sealed perfectly. Thank you so much for a wonderful butter!I'm sending some back to Hawaii for Thanksgiving!
